The vibrant fish in the temple’s ponds eagerly gathered for our offerings, creating a mesmerizing spectacle. To discover more about Wat Phanan Choeng, explore its Wikipedia page here.
Whispers of the Past at Wat Mahathat
Continuing our journey, we arrived at Wat Mahathat, an ancient temple steeped in history. This temple is renowned for its iconic Buddha face gently cradled by the roots of a Bodhi tree. It is customary, as a sign of respect, to position your head below Buddha’s when taking a selfie with this revered symbol.
