Entering Mae Wang National Park

Nestled in the heart of northern Thailand, Mae Wang National Park is a lush haven that beckons with its captivating waterfalls and the promise of unique wildlife encounters. A Trek to Remember

During this motorbike and hiking expedition, I had the opportunity to explore a hill tribe village and immerse myself in the stunning beauty of the Thai countryside. The trek covered a distance of 13 kilometers and involved an elevation gain of 600 meters, making it a moderately challenging endeavor suitable for those with average hiking ability. It was my very first hike with a group in Chiang Mai, and it proved to be both exciting and rewarding.

The hike provided the perfect balance of excitement and accomplishment for participants. For those without transportation and bikes, a Red truck was arranged to transport them to and from Chiang Mai city center for 200 Baht, ensuring everyone could join in on the adventure.

Our day kicked off bright and early at 7 AM when we gathered at the designated motorbike meeting location, filled with anticipation for the journey that lay ahead.
