The Golden Mount temple Wat Saket was a must-visit destination for me in Bangkok, same as for anyone interested in Thai culture and architecture. This stunning temple is located at 344 ถนน บริพัตร Ban Bat, Pom Prap Sattru Phai, Bangkok 10100 and boasts impressive architecture, that results in impressing any visitor.
What sets this temple apart from other temples in Bangkok is its location. The temple is situated atop a mountain in the middle of the city, which means you’ll need to hike up to reach it. As you make your way up the mountain, be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water. The climb can be steep and strenuous. However, I can guarantee that the view from the top is well worth the effort. I definitely enjoyed it.
Along the way, I’ve encountered many beautiful statues and decorations that make for great photo opportunities. Once I reached the top, firstly, I was rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the city. Secondly, it was a great chance to capture some memorable pictures of my trip.
While it may be crowded with tourists at the actual temple on the top, there are still plenty of opportunities to snap some beautiful pictures and enjoy the views. Be sure to climb the ladder to the temple roof, where you can take in the scenery from a different perspective.

Above all, please note that there is a fee to enter the temple, and visitors who are dressed inappropriately may be required to rent clothing before entering.
