During the first half of December and a few days in early January, I found myself constantly wearing a hoodie and jacket due to the significant drop in temperatures. Days would range from 18 to 22 degrees Celsius, which may sound mild compared to European summers. However, the difference is noticeable, as 18 degrees in Thailand can feel much colder, akin to 8 degrees in Europe. During this chilly period, it was common to spot motorbike riders wearing gloves and face masks for added warmth and protection.
